The imagery was processed in CultiWise, creating a damage layer that clearly displayed the extent and location of vole activity. This gave the farmer a clear visual overview of the situation, enabling an informed decision on whether to intervene with spot spraying rodenticide or monitor further.
When intervention was required, the prescription map guided a sprayer drone to apply treatment only within the damaged areas, ensuring accuracy and avoiding unnecessary application on healthy crop zones.
Beyond immediate control, the documented damage map provided verifiable proof for insurance claims, supporting transparent reporting and long-term field management planning.
