Herbicide Spot Spraying - green on green
Weeds in Winter Wheat

Map the block, spray the patches
The weeds sat in patches across 85 hectares of winter wheat. The usual answer is to spray all of it. Adrians flew the block with a drone instead, and CultiWise showed him every patch before he opened a single nozzle.
The mapping is fast. One small field took four minutes of flying, and the map came back showing that less than half of it actually needed herbicide. Full rate on the patches, a safety buffer around every weed, and the file went straight to the sprayer terminal. Every field in the block went through the same steps.
Then the money. Blanket spraying would have cost €25.50 per hectare. He paid €9.63. Across the block, that is €1,350 that stayed on the farm, from one herbicide pass.
“In the beginning the operator was skeptical, so the first fields we did together. Now I can just give him a flash drive and I know he will do everything precise and perfect.”
