A drone scan mapped green patches across the field before soybean seeding. In CultiWise, the data were processed into a Green-on-Brown prescription map, allowing the sprayer to treat only the weed-infested areas while avoiding clean, bare soil. This precise targeting reduced unnecessary spraying, lowering input costs and minimizing soil disturbance.
The prescription map also provided exact information on the required spray volume, the total mixture needed, and the percentage of savings, enabling the farmer to plan the operation efficiently. Fewer passes across the field meant less time spraying, lower fuel consumption, and fewer tank refills all while maintaining the same weed-control effectiveness.
